Love Letters Series

Its raining and you pass a bus stop. Three people are waiting for the bus, a woman going into labor, your best friend, and the love of your life. Your car only seats two people. What do you do? As you solve the riddle, I want to introduce you to this month’s series, Love Letters.

In Matthew 22:35-39, Jesus gave us two commandments to follow, “you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the fist and great commandment. And the second is like it. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets".

Jesus summed up the ten commandments into two. At times we are excellent at loving God and loving ourselves, but not great at loving our neighbors. When we obey God’s commands, we live in union with God and God lives in union with us (1 John 3:24). For everyone who loves is born of God and knows God (I John 4:7-11).

This month’s blog will, of course, focus on relationships. And what would a blog in February be without some bonus relationship advice? Thus, stick around because Love is in the air!
