PRAYER OF SALVATION
Salvation is only found in Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). After reading a snippet of the Gospel, would you like to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? If so, I would like to lead you through the prayer of salvation. “For if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).
But first, I want you to know there is no requirement or prerequisite to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior (Salvation). You do not have to get yourself together or be without sin. That's the whole point of Salvation, it saves you. Second, Salvation is a choice and in my opinion it was the greatest decision I ever made.
If you would like to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the prayer of salvation is pretty simple, short, and sweet. All you have to say is:
Lord God, I realize I am a sinner. I repent and ask for the forgiveness of my sins. Right now I confess with my mouth Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart on the third day Jesus was raised from the dead with all power and ascended into Heaven sitting at the right hand of God. Lord thank you for reconciling me back to You through Jesus Christ and making me a new creation where old things have passed away and all things have become new. Jesus, I invite you into my heart as my Lord and Savior and ask you to rule and reign as Lord of my life. In Jesus Christ's name, I pray amen.
If you said the prayer of salvation, all of Heaven is cheering for you (Luke 15:7) and I am too! Please send me a message so I can celebrate with you. Tell others about your amazing decision to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Let others know Salvation is available to them too.
Next, join a bible teaching, preaching church. Join a small group if small groups are available at your church. Most importantly begin reading God's word - the Bible (start with the book of Ephesians).
Jesus came that we may have life and life more abundantly (John 10:10). I pray as you walk with God and grow and develop in your relationship with God, you will begin to live the abundant life.
