U-N-I-T-Y

U-N-I-T-Y

I hope you enjoyed the Spoken Word Series! Stay tuned. There is more to come, but for now let's get into this month's series, U-N-I-T-Y.

The need for unity has been more prevalent than ever in America. Unfortunately, the spirit of disunity has run ramped through the body of Christ in such a way, that non believers question our authenticity in following Chrsit. More now than ever, the Body of Christ (Christians) must be unified and bear the fruit of unity, regardless of race, denomination, politics, popularity, and tradition.

Acts 4:32-27, gives us a beautiful depiction of the body of christ working together, providing for one another, loving one another, encouraging one another. Various backgrounds, races, classes, communities, unified for the sake of Christ.

Somewhere along the way, we have lost our unity, but the good news is we can reposition our hearts and focus on the purpose for which we are called. “Therefore if there is any encouragement and comfort in Christ [as there certainly is in abundance], if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship [that we share] in the Spirit, if [there is] any [great depth of] affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, having the same love [toward one another], knit together in spirit, intent on one purpose [and living a life that reflects your faith and spreads the gospel—the good news regarding salvation through faith in Christ]." (Philippians 2:1-2).

This month's Series will address the segregation of the body of Christ and how as believers we can walk as a unified body once again.

I pray you continue to stay healthy and safe.

Be Encouraged!
